NASA ASTRONAUT JESSICA MEIR JOINS HUNDREDS OF PRESENTERS FOR MAINE’S FIRST STATEWIDE VIRTUAL CAREER FAIR 

More Than 8000 High School Students Will Attend from May 17-21

ME Virtual Career Fair will kick off next week and will include more than 180 information sessions for 8000 students throughout the state. The event will launch with a series of pre-recorded messages from keynote speakers including Governor Janet Mills, Quincy Hentzel, president and CEO of the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce, Katie Shorey of Live + Work in Maine and reality TV star and entrepreneur, Bob Crowley.  The fair offers 188 live sessions and will feature businesses and organizations from varying industries throughout the state. NASA Astronaut Jessica Meir will present at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19.

YHS Students SIGN UP HERE   

Career Sessions will run all day from 8:30-4pm, Tuesday to Thursday. Students can move around from one session to another. Participation can happen during study hall, CCU, lunch, after school and perhaps during class with teacher permission.
