Water Bottles
We are noticing an increase in the number of students who are asking for disposable cups throughout the day. Students are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles to limit the amount of disposable items we distribute. We have several bottle fillers throughout the school for students to use. Please help your child remember a water bottle each day!

HMS Library Information and Reminders
HMS Librarian, Brandie Burrows, compiled our circulation statistics for the month of January. We continue to be impressed by our community of readers! If you would like to view the circulation information, please take a look here. With a few of the topics currently happening in classes, including the Gilded Age report and Disease of the Week book tasting, our nonfiction checkouts soared and topped both fantasy and graphic novels. We also wanted to include a friendly reminder that students should avoid putting a water bottle or wet shoes in the same backpack as a book. Books and other library materials all have archenemies, one of those just happens to be water bottles. If a book and a water bottle need to share space, please put the book inside a plastic ziplock back or something else that will keep it safe.

Yarmouth’s Got Talent (reminder)
Yarmouth Music Boosters is excited to share that this year's Yarmouth's Got Talent will take place on Friday, April 1 and will highlight some of Yarmouth's remarkably talented students from grades K-12. Auditions will be hosted by Kimberly Grover on Monday, March 28. If you would like to try out, fill out a YGT entry form at YarmouthsGotTalent.org. Entry forms are due by Thursday, March 17.
Yarmouth Music Boosters is planning for a live show this year so acts should be able to be performed on the Yarmouth Performing Arts Center stage. If Health and Safety conditions don't allow for in person attendance, the show will be recorded and shared with the community via Vimeo. All acts must follow school COVID requirements: all performers must wear masks, maintain spacing to the greatest extent possible, and use instrument filters. For more details, visit YarmouthsGotTalent.org.
