YARMOUTH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

On Thursday, March 14, the School Committee adopted a budget proposal to be presented to the Town Council. Subsequent to that meeting, the School Department received word that health insurance premiums for FY25 will not increase as much as anticipated, and the budget proposal was reduced by $130,000. On May 2, The Town Council unanimously approved the proposal, which will now go to the voters at Town Meeting and at referendum:

Tuesday, June 4 Town Meeting – 7:00 p.m. at YHS Auditorium

Tuesday, June 11 Budget Referendum – 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at YHS Gym
